102. Sanjay Singh and Chottepur would damage AAP Dr. Daljit Singh

AMRITSAR: Reacting after his expulsion from the party former Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Dr. Daljit Singh who had unsuccessfully contested MP Election during Parliament Polls of 2014 from Amritsar alleged that Sanjay Singh and Sucha Singh Chottepur would damage the party.
Talking to Punjabnewsexpress.com here today, Dr. Daljit Sigh said that he was removed from party but wouldn’t join any other political outfit even would ask his workers to continue work with the party.
He said that his only fault was that he always desired strict discipline within the party in Punjab but some leaders were not happy and conveyed resentment to senior party leaders at Delhi where his expulsion was decided.
It may be mentioned here that Punjab AAP leader and Convener of Punjab Disciplinary Committee of Aam Admi Party Dr Daljit Singh was expelled from the party today. The decision to expel was taken by the National Disciplinary Committee of the party.
The decision of the committee was conveyed to Dr Daljit Singh by the DC members namely Dinesh Waghela,Ashish Khaitan and Pankaj Gupta.
They have said that Members of the National Disciplinary Committee have gone through the response of Dr Daljit Singh and after carefully considering the responses came to the unanimous conclusion that he was "guilty of gross indiscipline and anti-party activities."
It has been further said that the committee unanimously has decided to expel Dr Daljit Singh from the party from immediate effect.
It may be recalled that Dr Daljit Singh was served with a show cause notice for openly expressing his reservations over the restructuring of the Punjab unit of the Party last week. Dr Daljit Singh, the well know eye-surgeon who pioneered ocular.
In 2014 at the time of joining politics, he had said that he could perform another 50,000-1,00,000 surgeries in the coming years, but “that means the society remains the same”.
He mentioned the surgery he had performed in 1986 on the then President Giani Zail Singh.
