243. National executive of AAP to meet today Apr 27 On Wednesday

New Delhi, Apr 27 On Wednesday, the national executive of AAP will meet here, when it is expected to induct new members to the committee.

The party is organizing election to the national executive; the second highest decision making body, and counting will be done on Wednesday.

The NE, which will have representation from dalits, women and minorities and different parts of the country, is expected to give another term to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal as national convenor.

Punjab, which is going to polls next year, is also expected to have a good representation in the body. The meeting will also see Kejriwal spelling out the party’s strategy as many states are going to polls next year.

The national executive will also choose a new political affairs committee (PAC) — the party’s highest decision making body.
