290. Aap constitutes adhoc committees of state executive and organization for punjab

 The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the Aam Aadmi Party has constituted ad-hoc committees of the state executive and organization for Punjab, as part of the its ongoing Mission Vistaar programme. The decision was taken in a meeting convened by the party’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, on July 11.

PAC has constituted these two ad-hoc committees for a period ranging between six months to a maximum of one year. Following this decision, all existing committees of AAP stand dissolved in Punjab.

Ad-hoc committees have been entrusted with the responsibilty of organisation building in Punjab right up to the booth level.

This new Punjab State Executive Committee (ad-hoc) will have the following responsibilities:

1. Take up appropriate political campaigns

2. To set up issue based committees, as deemed fit

3. To set up frontal organizations

4. Monitor organization building exercise

 Members of the Punjab State Organizing Committee (Ad-hoc) have been entrusted with the responsibility of building the organisation in all districts, and shall also be responsible for taking up local political campaigns in respective districts.

Jarnail Singh has been appointed the National Observer for the state with the additional charge to monitor organisation building exercise in the districts of Ferozpur, Fazilka, Jalandhar, kapurthala and Muktsar.

Dr. Dharamveer Gandhi, Bhagwant Mann, HS Phoolka, Kultar Singh and Harinder Singh will be the Spokespersons for the AAP Punjab unit.

Dr. Daljeet Singh will head a three member disciplinary committee and

HS Kingra will be the Training Coordinator.

Number of members in these committees can be increased in future as deemed fit.
