A35. THE NEED TO PREVENT EDUCATION FROM
DETERIORATING IN PUNJAB.
A few days ago, one day I met some boys who had
taken some degree diplomas from PTU. They wanted
to help me find a job. It turned out that they
had degrees. But in practice there was no
information beyond the word project. But still
they were demanding higher salaries. I dictated
to them in English and asked them to write the
application and found that about 50 percent of
the word was misspelled. He said that his
professors used to give lectures and leave. They
have had very few opportunities to use
computers.
I felt that they had been deceived. Their
parents have been betrayed. They thought that
their child had completed his higher education.
You will get a higher salary for this. But in
reality the child did not get a chance to study
English, Hindi, Punjabi, language for three
years. As a result, their language level has
gone below matriculation. They have come to get
higher education, they have lost even their
first. They need practical training again.
I tried to persuade them to take the issue of
car driving as an example. You need to drive.
But the professor will teach theory at the
institute. Theories, rules, regulations around
the world are related to car driving. Steele
Theory, Fuel Theory, Combustion Theory, Driving
Technology, Traffic Rules. You keep reading
theories all your life. But you will not be able
to learn to drive a car.
You will need to go to a specialist driver for
this achievement. He will teach you how to drive
a car in a short time by giving practical
training. Then when it is explained how the car
works, all the theories come to your mind
automatically. The major shortcoming in the
educational system of Punjab is that practical
training is not a priority here. This structure
can produce clerks. Which is not needed today.
This structure is not capable of producing
engineers and scientists.
That is why today there is a need for technical
knowledge to take precedence over theoretical
knowledge. Education should be made the head of
the profession. PTU is betraying the trust of
the youth. It not only raises Rs 4-5 lakh from
the children but also wastes the most precious,
four or five years of their lives. Its
educational level is lagging behind for almost
20 years. Only the degree paper is produced in
the child's pocket. In which 65 to 85 percent
marks are given. Millions of children have
earned these degrees.
But there is hardly a section that has climbed
the first rung of information technology.
Website development is the first level of
information and communication technology. But
there are very few children who will be able to
earn five to ten thousand rupees a month by
creating a website. These children do not get a
chance to read grammar or grammar, so their
English, Hindi and Punjabi language also becomes
weak. Many children are made disabled for life.
The Badal government has also polluted the
sacred department like education due to its
corrupt policy. The state level standard of
education has been abolished and only colleges
and institutes have been given the status of
universities. Just think! If a teacher has to
teach a child on his own, and he has to take the
exam himself and give a degree, what will be the
standard of education of that child? Who will
give him a high grade job? There are many
institutes in India in which students are being
selected by foreign companies with a grade of
several lakh rupees a month. But no one is
considering our children. However, some colleges
claim to have such appointments for their
advertising. Many of these claims are later
proven wrong.
Improve PTU. Provide higher technical education
by linking technical colleges online with
technical colleges of developed countries. There
will be no need to go abroad for higher
education. There will be no need to spend lakhs
of rupees. By providing distance education, most
of the education can be imparted to the child at
home. Girls in particular will no longer have to
go to colleges and institutes far away from
home. Punjab can be made the world's BPO, KVO
hub. India's Green Valley will be created.
