02: Who am I? What is my right to give an opinion?

The farmer family, the Sidhu dynasty, owned about 99 acres of land. 30 acres had to be sold. 9 acres of kiln land was grabbed by Maluka gang. About 60 acres are under my cultivation. My native village is Jalal, which is falls in Rampura Phool Vidhan Sabha. I belong to a family of freedom fighters. But I did not ask for any certificate from the Congress.

Gehraj and Mehraj were both brothers. Jalal was son of Gehraj. Capt. Amarinder Singh considers us his community as his cognates. In Parkash Singh Badal's family of five elders, I have three close relations. My father-in-law was the share holder in the Dabwali Transport Company, HO Dabwali. S Badal grabbed their majourity shares. S Badal desired to crush me. May I become a prolem. I rose to somany elevations with my personal contacts, capabilities and polite dealing. S Badal always intervened desiring my fall. In my very eary age I became member of Punjab Vidhan Sabha twice, despite opposition of S Badal. Hon'ble Shri Morarji Desai pleased to apoint me himself as Director Indian Agricultural Research Institute Pusa New Delhi and Member Agricultural Price Commission of India by ignoring S Badals intervention.

Due to Badals cooperation and partnership in plundering the Punjab, the peasantry of the Punjab, the destruction of the youth of the Punjab, the looting of the shrines, the Geelani of the Akal Takht, the looting of the Akal Takht, etc., I may be the first doctrinal opponent of these activities.

In 1972, became a member of the Vidhan Sabha as Independent candidate. At last movement Sant Fateh Singh withdraw the akali candidate and allotted symbol to me. The CPI and the Congress had an alliance. Giani Zail Singh's close relative, Comrade Master Babu Singh, had won this seat five times. The Akali Dal had lost this seat six times.

I became an independent candidate to defeat the Communists and win the Akali. The march of the tractor-trolleys was 12 km long. No one asked me for diesel, no money, no alcohol. Seeing my victory, at the last moment, Sant Fateh Singh Ji supported me. 50,000 votes, three-candidate battle, I won with 6,500 votes. Only 13 thousands rupee spent. That too on vegetables.

In 1977, I contested for the second time on an Akali ticket. The Badal group supported the Communist candidate. Giani Zail Singh stayed in this constituency for 9 days due to suspension of his election. I won  by 2,000 votes but 4,000 fake postal votes were prepared to defeat me. The fake vote could not be shown in the High Court. I got relief. Election expense was Rs. 17,000, on vegetables. The Badal government collapsed after about 16 months.

Soni ji was not voter of Punjab. Nor did she nominated a covering candidate. I did my paperwork at the last minute of filling time. I also submitted some evidence which proved that Ambika Soni is not a voter of Punjab. But despite this, Soni ji's papers were accepted.

Badal Sahib, Tohra Sahib, Talwandi Sahib and S. Surjit Singh were in Barnala Jail. Their postal votes was delayed by the postmaster of Chandigarh. Soni was declared the winner with a few votes. I Challenged it  in the High Court. In the High Court, free Service was rendered by Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Justice Kuldeep Singh. Relief was received. But the Rajya Sabha by-election term lasted only two years. Which ended during the court hearing.

A writ petition has been filed in the High Court against the Election Commission for issuing a code of conduct before announcing the election. Relief received. The Government of India made me a party in the Apex Court. The major improvement was that the Code of Conduct would not be issued before the election declaration.

Kisan Seva was started in 1970 with the formation of Punjab Farmers Forum. March 1972 The first session of the Vidhan Sabha takes the agenda of agricultural development. My speaches were appreciated by the press. So the owners of potato farmers of Jalandhar-Nakodar came to me. Producers of basmati and sela rice came from Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur. Many more farmers brought their issues.

Sela rice was being procured by CPI at Rs 1 per kg, double boiled, and sent to Russia at Rs 7 per kg, as Basmati rice. Basmati prices fell down. Billions of rupees per were being spent on Soviet magazines, communist propaganda, dish information, etc. I Meet Giani ji by setting up Punjab Farmers Forum letter pad, writing demands on letter pad. Demands complied with. Real basmati rice began to go to Russia. The farmer started getting the full value of basmati. The price of basmati has gone up. Electricity for storage of potatoes was provided at reduced rates.

May Day. May 1, 1972. Resolution of Comrade Dang. Make this day a non-official day. Comrade Satpal Dang, Comrade Darshan Singh Canadian some others finished their views in less than half an hour. No one even rose from the Congress. Opposition Leader Badal Sahib gave his opinion to pass the resolution without speaking. Speaker Darbara Singh pointed to me to complete the formality.

I said: - May Day. Independence Day. it is known as. On this day, the Russian proletariat declared independence from the Russian Tsar by placing a stage in a galley at red square Moscow. May 1 is a symbol of freedom, but we are slaves of Russia. Gained independence from England, became slaves of Russia. Russia is robbing us. Therefore, we do not have the right to celebrate May Day officially. The resolution should not be passed.

Comrades Satpal Dang and Darshan Singh Canadian and others objected. This friend calls the friend country, a looter. To prove it, I quoted rice. citations to Soviet magazines, citations of Russian farms, citations to buy cooperatives, etc were presented. Comrades continued to boycott. House Adjournment  continued. The debate lasted four days.

On the fourth day, the comrades staged a dharna in front of the Speaker, demanding proof, or expulsion from the House. The Speaker asked me to present some proof.

I gave evidence: Heavy water is being produced in Bhakra Dam. Heavy water has the same energy as uranium. Capable of making atomic bombs. Its production is banned by the UNO. It can generate unlimited electricity. Power is not being generated for Punjab. All heavy water is being smuggled to Russia for free. The Vidhan Sabha delegation should visit today. The comrades refused to form a delegation. Speaker Sahib refused to take any action against me. The comrades went on strike and walked out. National and International Press; The news appeared in the leading papers of USA and Canada. On Third day India stopped production of heavy water at Bhakhra Dam.

I was recognized as a farmer leader at the national level. My visiting card has details of Punjab Farmers Forum since 1970 to the date. Bhupinder Singh Mann rose from a local farmer leader to a state farmer leader. Gathered some kisans in Chandigarh. From 1975 to 1977 the peasant issues remained in obscurity. Due to Indira's strictness and emergency, no farmer's news was published.

1977 Janata Party government is formed. Murarji Deshai of 91, became the Prime Minister and Advani Sahib, Bajpayee Sahib, Babu Jagjivan Ram and Hirubhai Patel became the ministers. I was in proximity to Murarji Desai through Barnala Sahib and Gulshan Ji. Because my English was high, special files of both the ministers were sent to PM Sahib through me. I used to answer PM Sahib's query correctly.

Impressed, he nominated me as the director of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusha. He also nominated as a member of the Agriculture Culture Price Commission. For the first time as a member of the Price Commission, resolutions were passed unanimously. Wheat price rises by Rs 35

At the Pusa Research Center, I explored the production of edible proteins with 99% purity by separating the poisonous gossipole gland, from the kernel of binola (cotton seed) through a cyclone process. It was to be used for export quality protein, pharmaceutical and edible use. In Bathida settled up a plant on 7 acres, on the Farikot highway. I Visited Texas (USA) and Israel to examin the pilot plant. The calibration matured. But even before production started, the project fell victim to Badalshahi. The buildings were demolished. Maluka gang took possession of the land. This was the routine of Badalshahi.
